The Class of '84 had its 25th Anniversary reunion at the Kadai King restaurant in Westlands on Saturday 22nd of August 2009.

Several students attended the reunion and got a chance to catch up and share their life stories so far. Some Strathmore School teachers who had taught the class also attended the event and made fun of the days that were.
They also launched the Class of '84 Endowment Fund, and presented the initial capital to Mr. Gortazar.

The Class of '84 Endowment Fund

      • Mission - to get at least one bright needy child through four years of secondary school at Strathmore.
      • Overall cost for a student per year - Kshs 120.000 (US$ 1,600)
      • Agreed contribution per signed up old boy - Kshs 1000 (US$ 15) per month (or Kshs 12000 per year).
      • Once we have met the fees for a single year, we contribute towards the entire 4-year period. Once we have met the 4-year target, we sponsor a second student.
      • Formal launch date of the fund, 1st September 2009.
