It was a year to be yearned. The end of the year saw most of the schools targets met; expansion of the parking lot, refurbishing of the basketball courts, re-tiling of the computer lab and music room and many more...
The
Lisha Kenya Jenga Kenya campaign was also a remarkable success having been run by the students and parents of the school.
It was also the year that saw Strathmore win the soccer
ISL A league after a very long wait, pounding Rosslyn Academy
2-1 to bring home the much deserved trophy. The team captains
Ali Mohamed and
Ian Minjire (now in F.4) were ecstatic with the outcome.
The end of the year also saw Strathmore participate in its annual
Christmas wagon, with hundreds of parents and children contributing cash and non-perishable food stuffs to the cause that helped the children of St. Martins and Kwetu Home of Peace among others.
The Strathmore Christmas party was also celebrated with bliss with several alumni joining in the fun to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
We thank God for seeing us through the year, and we can only hope and pray for an even better year 2010.
