KCSE 2009

The KCSE results were announced on 2nd March 2010. The school improved its mean from
9.99 in 2008 to
10.27 this year.There has been a remarkable improvement in
English (from 10.22 to 11.04), Kiswahili (from 9.42 to 10.28), Biology (from 9.94 to 10.13), Chemistry (from 9.14 to 9.16), Geography (from 8.68 to 8.97) Computers (from 9.53 to 10.9) and French (from 9.9 to 11.31). For the 1st time in a ling time no student scored below
B-.
The school had 7 students with a straight
A, and 29 with
A-. The top student,
Daniel Kimani had
84 points while in second place,
Ian Odhiambo, had
83.
Since the government disallowed ranking of schools in terms of performance, we cannot speak about their position nationally with certainty though it is rumoured that we were still among the top 10.
