Its celebration on a Thursday is meant to be associated with Maundy Thursday, the day Jesus Instituted the Eucharist.

Despite the half opened gates, the school corridors were still buzzing with activity through out the April Holidays. Both the secondary and primary sections were engaged in numerous activities, ranging from community service in various centers in Nairobi, to academically related activities such as remedial classes for the candidates.

Swimming : Junior Sharks at work

The young swimming team did a thorough job on the 21st and 22nd of March 2009 at the at the NASA JUNIOR PLUS MASTERS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS bringing home the biggest trophy of the event and many more medals won individually by the participants in the several categories.
The event saw legendary eight-year-old ATUHAIRE AMBALA(S2) scoop all the medals for his age group in all the categories, leaving the crowd speechless.

Swimming : The Sharks Go at it Again

On the 7th of March, the school was represented in the Roslyn Academy gala by the swimming team, The Sharks. It was certainly an outstanding performance as they managed to clinch the position of second best boys swimming team.

PARENTS : 2009 Parenting Course

The parenting course program for 2009 kicked off with sessions for Standard 1 new parents. The course is aimed at improving skills in good parenting and helping them better understand their children. They learn from each other how best to talk to their children, encouraging them and helping them explain their problems. They get new ideas on how to teach them to be disciplined and responsible. Sessions are held every two weeks for parents of Standard 1s and any new parents in the school.The next sessions for standard one parents are on 14th and 28th March 2009. There is a similar course for Form 1 parents in Second Term.

Rangers : Rangers 2009 Kicks Off

The Rangers kicked off their 2009 activities with election of their patrols on 7th February 2009. This year, they'll have their 3 camps: one at Nanyuki, another at Naivasha and a graduation camp at the school.They meet on selected Saturdays for various activities which teach them useful life skills in a challenging yet enjoyable way. They are instructed by Mr. Ochieno and Mr. Gitau with Mr. Muiruri as their patron.

Swimming : Shining in the Water

A team of boys from the lower primary participated in the Single A NASA championship at Aga Khan on 31st January 2009 and managed to clinch the first runners up position in the 9 and under boys’ category. The team consisted of Atalie Wambai (S 2), Ryan Kimani(S 2), Alvin Omanga(S 2), Isaac Ndungu(S 2), Jeremy Kagimbi(S 2) and Andrew Siminyu(S 3),. Their secondary school counterparts were forth overall in their category (Tito Tibi – Form 3 and Edward Nyasia – Form 4).
