Soccer : Team A 2008 Season - The Smell of Victory

Despite having a slow start, the Soccer Team A charged forward through the difficult season and managed to reach the semi-finals where they lost to the winners of the league - Roslyn Academy. It was a tough league and it was amazing that they did so well despite the fact that many would say that they did not take their pre-season very seriously. The matches were exciting and we were disappointed when they lost at the semis because the victory was so close, almost in our hands. We could smell it.

Soccer : Team B 2008 Season - a Success

This year's soccer season was really successful for the Strathmore Team B. The team managed to win the ISL league with only 1 draw and no losses. Coached by Andrew Karani the team worked hard and through their excellent play they soared above all the other teams. The team manager (Ryan Gitonga) pieced up a summary of the season.

Soccer : APRIL 2005 SOCCER CLINIC

In April 2005 Strathmore School hosted a one-week soccer clinic ever. The participating boys were from Std 3 to Std 7 and the main aim was to learn teamwork through intensive ball-work and to train and perfect basic soccer skills in the youngsters.

Soccer : THE APRIL 2004 SOCCER CLINIC

In April 2004 Strathmore hosted the greatest one-week soccer clinic ever. It could only be compared to the reputable Liverpool or Man U youth training programs. The participating boys were from Std 3 to Std 7. The main goal was to learn teamwork through intensive ball-work and to train and perfect basic soccer skills in the youngsters. There were five fit and skilled coaches who kept activities rolling and had a keen eye on the achievement of every boy, and to ensure optimum performance, each boy was provided with his own ball. The main coach was Viberti Nyakango, a past student, sportsman of the year 1996 and a certified Coever Coach. He is also a key striker for his university side in Wollong, Australia.
