The Strathmore junior swimming team emerged winner of the NASA ‘AAA’ championship claiming the title of the best boys team in the 9 yrs and under category.

The young swimming team did a thorough job on the 21st and 22nd of March 2009 at the at the NASA JUNIOR PLUS MASTERS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS bringing home the biggest trophy of the event and many more medals won individually by the participants in the several categories.
The event saw legendary eight-year-old ATUHAIRE AMBALA(S2) scoop all the medals for his age group in all the categories, leaving the crowd speechless.

Swimming : The Sharks Go at it Again

On the 7th of March, the school was represented in the Roslyn Academy gala by the swimming team, The Sharks. It was certainly an outstanding performance as they managed to clinch the position of second best boys swimming team.

Swimming : Shining in the Water

A team of boys from the lower primary participated in the Single A NASA championship at Aga Khan on 31st January 2009 and managed to clinch the first runners up position in the 9 and under boys’ category. The team consisted of Atalie Wambai (S 2), Ryan Kimani(S 2), Alvin Omanga(S 2), Isaac Ndungu(S 2), Jeremy Kagimbi(S 2) and Andrew Siminyu(S 3),. Their secondary school counterparts were forth overall in their category (Tito Tibi – Form 3 and Edward Nyasia – Form 4).
