On April the 13th, while many of us were still cozying up in our nice warm beds, the Junior Rangers had their bags packed and were in the school bus on their way to Nanyuki for a three day camp...

Rangers : Rangers 2009 Kicks Off

The Rangers kicked off their 2009 activities with election of their patrols on 7th February 2009. This year, they'll have their 3 camps: one at Nanyuki, another at Naivasha and a graduation camp at the school.They meet on selected Saturdays for various activities which teach them useful life skills in a challenging yet enjoyable way. They are instructed by Mr. Ochieno and Mr. Gitau with Mr. Muiruri as their patron.

The rangers went for an interesting camp this April.

In an interview with Mr. Robert Wahome, the exploits of the School’s Defence Force over the April holidays were revealed.

Rangers : Junior Rangers Tree Planting Exercise

On Saturday May 22nd 2004 the Strathmore Juniour Rangers embarked on a tree planting exercise. They managed to plant over 350 trees.

We left school at ten forty five in the morning. The journey to Nanyuki took about five hours. We stopped at some places for supplies, and then continued on our way. We stopped at Karatina then Naru Moru before arriving in Nanyuki Town. We stopped for lunch and after lunch we continued our journey. It started raining in Naru Moru Town.
