Class 8 2011 KCPE Results



On the 28th of December the 2011 KCPE Results were announced finally putting to an end the anxiety that started building up soon after Christmas. Strathmore improved its performance to score an impressive 368.87 compared to the previous year's the highlight of the year was the splendid performance in Kiswahili whose perfomance improved from the previous year's 61.44 to 69.92. All the other subjects posted impressive results.

The top student was Henry Keango (Right) with 417 marks followed by Adrian Muli (Centre) and Brandon Macharia (Left) both with 416 marks.

The A Team



Last year both soccer teams exhibited exemplary performance reaching both the semi-final and the final. The A team started on a high note as they won their friendly against Rosslyn. However it was not the same for the B team as they lost their friendlies to Rosslyn, 2-1, and to Breaburn Gitanga, 3-2.

2011 PRIZE GIVING DAY



The 2011 Prize Giving Day was held on the 24th of September and was as momentous as ever, being the biggest event in Strathmore’s annual calendar. The event commenced at 2:30pm and was opened by a prayer by the School Chaplain, Father Joe Babendreier. A number of rattling entertainment pieces from both the primary and secondary sections followed. The prizes presented were many and as varied as ever. Assisting with the presentation of awards this year were Mr and Mrs J.M. Kagochi, parents to Martin Kagochi (Form 4 2011) and Kevin Kagochi (Form 4 2009).
