ADMISSIONS
Strathmore admits students from widely differing backgrounds. Every year, the number of applicants for Strathmore School admissions far exceeds the number of places available. All prospective applicants are required to sit a written entrance test. The Admissions Committee selects those students who demonstrate ability to cope with Strathmore’s demanding academic standards and who show potential to become active, productive members of the School.

TRANSFER INTERVIEWS
Learners who wish to transfer into Strathmore School are expected to sit a transfer test.
Please note that we do not accept transfers into Grade 6.
Due to the lack of available vacancies in the Secondary and Junior School sections, transfer interviews will NOT be conducted this academic year.
FINANCIAL AID AND BURSARY SUPPORT
Applicants who qualify through the Strathmore School admissions process are also eligible to apply for financial assistance based on demonstrated family needs and circumstances. It is the School’s strict policy that no deserving boy who meets our academic admission requirements should be prevented from accepting a place because of inability to pay the fees. The Bursary Fund depends on donations. Regular appeals are made to parents, past students and friends for contributions to the Bursary Fund.
Application for financial aid can only be submitted after admission into the school.
