We wish to congratulate the class of 2021 on a great performance in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams released earlier today!
The class posted a mean of 9.885, which is an improvement from the mean of 9.783 posted in 2020. In this exam, 14 students posted the maximum average Grade of A compared to 5 students who posted a similar Grade in 2020. Furthermore, 85 students out of 87 candidates attained the minimum Grade of C+ and above necessary for university admission. This translates to 98% transition rate to university.
There was a marked improvement in performance in English, Kiswahili, Geography and history. French and Computer Studies also maintained their impressive performance!
We wish to thank you, the parents of the class of 2021 for your unwavering support for your sons! Despite the many challenges occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, you sacrificed the time, finances and energies that go with Day School education to ensure the success of your sons. The school, and indeed your sons, will be eternally grateful to you! God has indeed blessed your efforts with success!
We also wish to thank the members of staff, both teaching and non-teaching: You went out of your way to teach, coach and mentor these boys, often going beyond the call of duty to ensure their success. Ahsanteni sana!
And to you the boys: You did the heavy lifting; you put in the hours; you put in the energies; you allowed yourselves to be moulded and guided! Behold the fruits of your hard work!
