Special Guests!

Last week was a truly special one for our school community as we had the honour of welcoming two distinguished visitors: Fr. Javier Del Castillo, Vicar General of Opus Dei, and His Excellency Kang Hyung-shik, Korean Ambassador to Kenya.

Fr. Javier Del Castillo – Monday, 29th September 2025

We were privileged to begin the week with a visit from Fr. Javier Del Castillo on Monday. During his time at the school, Fr. Javier held a lunchtime session with our staff members. In this engaging and thoughtful discussion, he reflected on the core values of the education we provide, highlighting its impact not only on students but also on their families. He spoke about the deeper purpose of our educational mission—one that seeks to form both minds and hearts, nurturing a strong foundation of character, values, and lifelong learning.

His insights were both inspiring and affirming, reinforcing the shared commitment of our educators and families to offer holistic, values-based education.

His Excellency Kang Hyung-shik – Thursday, 2nd October 2025

Later in the week, we were delighted to receive His Excellency Kang Hyung-shik, the Korean Ambassador to Kenya. The Ambassador paid a courtesy visit to our Principal, Mr. John Muthiora, in a gesture of goodwill and neighbourly friendship, as the school is located next to the Korean Embassy.

During his visit, His Excellency took the time to interact with some of our students, offering warm words of encouragement and fostering a spirit of cultural exchange. He also reaffirmed the strong ties between the school and the Korean Embassy.

In addition, the Ambassador shared valuable information about higher education opportunities in Korea, encouraging our students to consider the wide array of programs and scholarships available at Korean universities.

We are deeply grateful to both Fr. Javier Del Castillo and His Excellency Kang Hyung-shik for taking the time to visit us. Their presence was not only an honour but also a source of inspiration for both our staff and students. Moments like these enrich us and prepare us to take a place in a global society.
