Strathmore School turned into a hive of footballing action on Saturday, 13th September 2025, as it hosted two vibrant youth football tournaments: the 13 & Under and 11 & Under age group tournaments. With over 40 teams battling it out in high-energy matches, the day was a showcase of raw talent, sportsmanship, and passion for the beautiful game.
13 & Under Tournament: Strathmore Crowned Champions!
The 13 & Under category brought together 16 teams divided into 4 competitive pools. From the very first whistle, the level of play was electric, with tight defending, brilliant saves and breathtaking goals lighting up the two pitches.
Group Stage Highlights:
- Strathmore A dominated Pool A with commanding performances.
- Swaminarayan brought flair and discipline to top Pool B.
- Urafiki Carovana impressed in Pool C with clinical finishing.
- Makini School Runda showed strong teamwork in Pool D.
Final Standings – 13 & Under
- Champions: Strathmore A
- Runners-Up: Swaminarayan
- Third Place: Urafiki Carovana
Individual Awards:
- ⭐ Top Scorer: Maison Muthanyi (Swaminarayan)

Strathmore A sealed their title with a blend of attacking flair and solid defensive work. In a tense final, they edged past Swaminarayan with a narrow win, cheered on by passionate supporters.
11 & Under Tournament: Crawford Snatches Victory
The 11 & Under tournament featured 16 teams split across four pools. With smaller players but no less intensity, the younger footballers thrilled spectators with fast-paced games and fearless play.
Group Stage Fireworks:
- Strathmore A topped their group with dominant play and sharp finishing.
- Crawford emerged as the dark horses with tactical discipline and powerful runs down the flanks.
- Makini School Runda impressed with strong technical play to earn their semifinal spot.

The final was a thrilling end-to-end encounter between Strathmore and Crawford, but it was Crawford who converted their chances clinically to lift the trophy.
